Not sure if anyone mentioned this! But Vanguard token units aren't a part of the standard 50 card deck, but instead are pulled as needed from an extra deck! So they don't take up any slots and are just straight plusing :)

14:48 In Yugioh terms that card would translate to "When it is summoned special summon a monster from your hand and draw 2 cards". That'd get banned really quick in Yugioh.

Well the Draw 2 only works if you SS a Grade 3, or in Yugioh Terms, if you SS a Level 7 or 8 monster.

@@israeldelarosa5461 The difference is you have unlimited Summons in Vanguard, so it's more like "Special Summon a monster from your hand that can be Special Summoned by its own effect, and meets the conditions for activation of that effect. Then, if it was level 7 or higher, draw 2 cards." I don't think it would be banned because the conditions for getting off the effect are too niche. Similar to how we have many Draw 2 cards that aren't banned due to how little they see play.

The textured card is an SP! Basically a set ammount of cards each set get an SP variant which is basically a full art version. The DSR (OverDress secret rares) got an alternate artwork too and go around for 200+ bucks!

What great about this set is that very card in the set has a foil version in there as well so if you buy enough packs you can build a entire deck of just foil cards (so you can build a bad ass deck while making it look cool & shiny at the same time)

I'm happy you are releasing Vanguard content. It's been a game i was interested in for a long time and i finally commited to getting the 5 starter decks so i can find out what kind of faction I want to play. All packs have 2 foiled cards, excpet when the pack contains a H (Holo) or SP, that's when there's 3 foiled in a pack

Hi Alec, appreciate you covering overdress stuff. Just a clarifiaction, the new ridelines don't really implement the start decks strategy, they're ment as their own deck. Up till now, all the ridelines basically represent a past vanguard clan, so basically we currently have 10 different decks wich represent 10 different clans. -nirvana&vairina (kagero) -bruce (spike brothers) -bastion (royal paladin) -magnolia (great nature) -seraph snow (dimension police) -eugene (narukami) -baromagnes (dark irregulars) -zorga (granblue) -orphist (link joker) -hexaorb (oracle think tank) These are the current 10 ridelines around wich decks are constructed at the moment, and the clans they represent.

The rarity for the Brant gate starter is a SP! you can get one SP per box. as for the Overdress rare i think it's one per case or one every two cases.

Pretty great pulls, the SP wasn't fantastic, but Valiente and Bulbamine are the most expensive RRR and RR in the set. Alden, Baromagnes, Arcs, and Fosado are good pulls too.

It's 10,000 extra power and a critical on the dark states overtrigger but the the thing is its permanent and the effect is applied to the player so it doesn't matter if you ride new cards. Very arguably the best OT in the game rn

That's kinda debatable, if you pull it early in the game it's a near guaranteed win but if you pull it late when the opponent is already at 5 it barely does anything.

There is Vanguard Zero on Android/ios. It doesn't play EXACTLY like the actual game yet it's familiar enough to feel comfortable jumping between the two. There are also some dedicated Vanguard youtubers that post gameplay and strategies (DifferentFight, Solemn Vanguard, CVGS)
