Hi! I’m looking into applying for RIT and it is my first choice right now. Your videos have been very helpful, and I had some questions if that’s okay. I can’t remember which major you said you were, but I think it was in the natural sciences? Bio maybe? Do you recommend RIT for natural sciences? More specifically , I’m aiming for environmental science. I was also wondering if you know anyone who can give a “review”/insight into the computer science and engineering fields. Finally, what do you think of overall campus safety? I’ve noticed you walking around alone in darker hours, so would you say it is safe for female students to do so?

I am biochemistry but I have heard a lot from different natural science majors. From my point of view, so far so good, you definitely get a lot of oppurnity here especially in the sciences you just have to put yourelf out there to get involved in projects and research. Lot's of great and passionate professors! Environmental science is pretty great here from my perspective.

I do have some people for computer science and a lot of Mech e friends (shoot your questions or email me!) As for safety on campus at night, I've never had a problem. I use to ride my skateboard at night all the time, walk home from campus, and other shenanigans, it's a pretty calm campus in my perspective. Campus safety is quick to respond (especially f you're locked out your room), i believe they can give you a ride home, or walk if your're feeling unsafe.
