This departs while AA's Dreamliner sits on the sidelines. They really have to get those seats FAA approved, I really want to American's 787 start service with in the next month. Cool video though!!!

As told my an AA pilot that I know, the business class seats are not FAA Safety approved. This is a small part to the delay. Even still, once it is actually delivered to AA, it's not even going to fly passenger routes. The flight crews and maintenance will use the aircraft for training and familiarization. Then it will start service from KDFW to KORD. Eventually, it will fly from KJFK to LFPG. There are quite a few more Dreamliner's to come for American. The -9's are coming in around 3 or 4th quarter of 2015.

I was told , because I work on the flight line, American Airlines does not Like Zodiac and the problems they have. we would not have Delivered that airplane if it was not FAA approved.
