My game does the same thing on my 360, they only way, I've found to keep it from subbing out to my 3rd and 4th string players, is to Auto sim the extra point and kickoffs.

You need some special teams help, I got u drew: Tight punt. Always. The AI will run base defense and your field position will be better. Past midfield AI punt: always pick safe punt return, they love faking it here NEVER run punt block. It doesn’t work. Ever. 2 point conversion: Run fake field goal pass. If they go all put throw to the post and a weak throw will at least get to the in route. It’s open against both man and zone
