Thanks for sharing. You say these are for First Grade but MBTP indicates that they are more for Second Grade. May I ask how old your daughter was in years and months when she took this program. My Daughter will be 7 and 1/2 in September and going into Second Grade. She is a good student. Due to Covid, we feel it is safer to just home school this year. We want her to be interested in learning at home, learn good material and stay scholastically connected with her classmates. I am afraid that the 7-9 year curriculum might be too advanced from what she learned in First Grade and if she does succeed in it she might be disconnected academically from her class when she returns to school for Third Grade. Any thoughts on this question?

We've been concerned about the same thing regarding our first grader. She's 7, so we're doing the 6-8 program with her, even if it advances her beyond her classmates the next year. I'd say being ahead is never a bad thing. :-) The teachers teach to the lowest common denominator, so if your student is above that it's great. (coming from a former teacher)

How old was you daughter when going through these? I’m debating which to do with my first grader. The 5-7 year looks to simple for her but don’t want her skipping basic concept she could learn in 5-7 if I move to 6-8. Also would have my 9 year old join if I did 6-8. Thank you for sharing!

I purchased them during the sale they have in March/April. I believe I paid just a little over $200 for everything I got.
