I love your videos and find them so helpful. Do you have any recommendations for ELL speakers during listening comprehension. I use pictures and movement but I still struggle to really engage my ELLs.

Thank you for your quick reply, Courtney. It is a course called “Helping Struggling Readers” that allows teachers to explore strategies to help their students improve in their reading skills. Teachers in NC receive CEU credits for completing the course. I would like to use your video as an example in one portion of the online course that addresses the think-aloud strategy.

Yes!! Just a great way for kids to keep engaged and to know that reading is thinking so we're always thinking!! =)
