Same! Capricorn rising and Sun. Except I used travel and cannabis. Travel allowed me to be free and new at each location, staying detached to people and the need to explain my ever changing Self (Capricorn Neptune Ascendant). Last 10+ years of my life I’ve been basically “forced” to stay and live in one place allowing me to accept and grow comfortably in myself and the ever changing free soul I am regardless where I am or who I’m surrounded with. That has been the most freeing experience. But I can’t wait to get out and travel again.

I've always used the placidus chart. I'm a Sagittarius Rising and Sagittarius Sun. In the Placidus chart my sun is in the 12 th house. The whole chart system my sun in in the 1st house. Also my moon is in 11 th in placidus and the 12 th in whole sign chart. The whole sign system just resonates with me alot more.

my sun is 22 degrees Aquarius with Capricorn rising. You didn't mention sun signs coming after the ascendant, though. Some house systems push it into the 2nd house, but mercury and venus which are also there, stay. Everything you said made a lot of sense though!
