My realizations (long post) ▫️Our boring days are our best days. We just fail to recognize it. ▫️It doesn't do good to dwell in the past. What has been has been allowed or prohibited by God. ▫️Ayokong tumandang hindi ko fully naaappreciate ang asawa ko. 😥 ▫️When Third said to Cory "You know Cory, when things don't work out, you might as well separate." This being his response when Cory asked about now his ex-wife. She realized that THIRD GIVES UP SO EASILY. Cory knows that at times, things don't work our for them with Alejandro. In the film, she resents him because Alejandro doesn't give butterflies in her stomach. But later on realized that although their love is "boring, colorless, tasteless", Alejandro's love for her is strong. He didn't gave up on her just because things didn't work out even the fact that they didn't have a child. The old Mercedes-Benz represents Andong's patient and undying love for Cory. Cory: Nagkape ka na ba? Andong: Hindi pa. Hinihintay kita eh. Cory: [prepares the coffee and served it to Alejandro] THE LOVELIEST PART OF THE MOVIE. At the beginning and middle of the film, Cory resents serving Andong. But in the end, her love for him was revitalized and served him with love. I can almost hear her say to herself "Kahit walang kaming anak at boring ang pagsasama namin, hindi niya ako iniwan." 😭 😭 😭 🙌 ▫️Cory said she kept all Third's letter because it reminded her that someone loves her. Later on at the end, she burned those letters. If Cory indeed married to Third, he might as well divorced her when things don't work out for them. ▫️Marie, Cory's BFF, brings out whatever Cory is struggling with. She asked a very good question to Cory "Hindi ako makapaniwala na sa tagal ng pagsasama ninyo ni Alejandro ay hindi mo naramdaman na minahal ka nung tao?" That time, Cory haven't realized how Andong loves her until she finally had a talk with Third. "Ang pagmamahal pala sa isang tao parang pagmamahal sa halaman. Kailangan araw-araw dinidiligan, inaalagaan. Araw-araw naghahanap ka ng dahilan o paraan para maramdaman mong nagmamahal ka pa rin at minamahal mo ang taong pinili mong makasama habang-buhay." - Marie

VERY GOOD COMEDY ROMANCE DRAMA that at some point I got EMOTIONAL. Very good narrative with some lessons to learn in this life. My first time to see COLEEN BORGONIA (Young Cory). She's very attractive and beautiful. I hope to see her more in other films. Watching from Illinois USA: 10-14-2024. 🕐AM Early morning here now.
