You were right, he was indeed speaking German in the beginning; it is a German band. The entire band is vegan/ vegetarian and this is one of their songs on the topic. Hence the title "Voice of the Voiceless" and the opener "See them die!". It also explains some of their other songs, like "Hunters will be Hunted"

der jetzige Drummer (Christian) war Lehrer; der Drummer der hier zu sehen (Matthias) ist, war kein Lehrer sorry fürs klugscheißen
