Huh knew about this game but DAMN they should remaster this cause holy crap this looks actually fun, This could have been bigger then Eve Online, even though both games came out in the same year. And I do love the Roleplay "Ejects" "Search for escape pods" "Yes boss" Love it, plus what you should have done was destroy those Xeno crafts first then went for the battleship cause it seemed like those fighters were dealing more damage to you then the other ship and it seems you were actually kicking its ass more then he was to you.

This game was so far ahead of its time, but also it came around in a golden era of the internet. Early 2000s, not everyone could afford a PC/decent connection so games weren't flooded with assholes on cheap throwaway accounts just there to grief and cheat. Sounds snobbish maybe but it was a better time.

@@mcnubbets Farming monet in Disco is much easier now. You can also claim a "Veteran Package" on the forums which contains a decent amount of credits and a unique transport which will be quite enough for a start :)

Just saw the picture and my brain starts running the fantastic memorys of emotions. Way before i was sure it is Freelancer. It was the best of its kind. unbeaten till today for me. Follow up in my cout is Eve-online. But its way different and plays in its own unbeaten league. The only game i think can be a good successor in future is Star Citizen. I hope

God I miss this game, such simple, intuitive controls that anyone could master, master! Interesting story, fun ships and completely different settings. God I wish they would release w.e the he'll StarCitizen is now and just remake Freelancer. Oooooo and Starlancer.

@@MortDC I haven't played Freelancer Disco in over ten years. Used to run CR, but good god what an absolutely thankless job. I ran a Freeport once too, and thats a good way to make you hate the people who run diplo for the house factions.

I have a question: In vanilla freelancer I can play only single seat ships. In this mod also capital ship are playable, correct? And is there in this mod a single player story?
