Rather than banning anything, it would be better to ban 1 or 2 type of each kind of army (2 ban for troops, 1 for spells, 1 for equipment, pets, etc.). This would prevent targeted bans - such as having no equipment options for one hero. You can also consider a phase to "protect" a troop or anything before the banning phase. Also it'd be nice to see what is banned during the attack. Nice content carbon.
