Great vid mate, some real nice additions to the collection there! Never really known much much about the Ti99, one of the very few systems I’ve never owned so it’s always really interesting to see those carts! I’ve found myself looking at old vinyl a lot recently, I’m trying to stay away from it as I have enough expensive hobbies 😂

@@ninjabearhug @ninjabearhug cheers Stu, sense not many people had a TI99 in this country, was our first family computer back in the early 80's and carried me up to the ZX Speccy I bought myself in '87. A lot of people into vinyl these days which is good to see. Thankfully I kept my original vinyls but alot of those need proper cleaning, also recently inherited my late uncles vinyl, he passed in the early 90's so great to have those. New vinyl are getting expensive now though😄 so yes a dangerous slippery slope to get back into. Cheers for watching mate👍

Ooh, Flying Shark & Sabre Wulf takes me back! Love the gameplay footage overlay to go alongside the descriptions. So many I've not seen myself so would be interesting to see some of those played in the future. Some awesome pickups, as always, and with the added bonus that you have just redefined the Lager Shandy! Or is it more of a Cocktail? 😄

Hello Lee mate. Firstly, is that white wine or lager in that glass? (continues to watch video)... ahhhhh! : ) Sabre Wulf - a great game, so colourful and well designed for the Speccy (and this). Love your coverage of the 8-bit micros, takes me right back to where my gaming (and computing) journey began. Loved the sprite work and animation on Spitfire. Daddie's Hot Rod? Don't like the sound of that, haha. Ghost Squad for Wii is a good fun time. Trailer Park - a classic, but... Spiritualized - awesome! The Ladies and Gentleman album was great, but I definitely prefer Lazer Guided Melodies., more 'Dream Pop'. Have you heard of S.H.A.C.K.? Check out their albums H.M.S. Fable and Waterpistol. Mate, we have to hook up again and share and listen to albums?! Nice one Lee!

@@claygraphics1 cheers Clay buddy, loving a bit of Soju lately and mixed with lager is lush(does go the head mind😄). Sabre Wulf is brilliant, one of those games I can just play and play regardless how far I get. I do love the 8bit era of games, without a doubt my favourite era. Durrell were the masters of large Sprites weren't they? The Spitfire looks incredible as it rolls and changes direction etc. and then there was the likes of Thanatos etc. Think I agree on Laser Guided, was always nuts on Ladies and Gentlemen, but this really is a beautiful album, shame I missed out so long but hey never too late to catch up. Seeing Spiritualized perform Pure Phaze in a couple Months in Bristol, can't wait! Yeah definitely looking forward to catching up again mate, up for that any time👍

Wow you've certainly been busy with the pickups Lee, really great to have the footage to go alongside them Thought all the TI-99 ones looked good , before you said the rabbit one played like Donkey Kong, I was getting those vibes, amazing to get a bonus boxed copy Flying Shark looked fantastic The TI-99 was such a good system from what I can make out Again I thought the Spectrum stuff looked great, especially Pacman, Berzerk and Scramble, i also need to try a Bug Sure you won't be disappointed with Ghost Squad, it's fantastic, great to find a US copy I really want to watch the Spectrum documentary, sounds great Top pickups mate👍

Cheers James, I'm still learning and didn't expect the sounds would come with the gameplay videos, will mute them next time. I've bought some absolutely fantastic TI99 software the past few weeks, all new to me aswell. Can't wait to try Ghost Squad, I'm sure I will love it, it's a shame NTSC Wii games are tricky to find over here. The rubber keyed wonder is ready to play tomorrow, already watched it at Crash a couple years back and really enjoyed it so be good to watch it again.

Great pick ups mate, nice tr66 bundle. Really impressed with flying shark. Your spoiling us, I can never be arsed to bother with footage 😂. Never owned a bug, looks like a cool joystick. If you know anyone with a 3d printer you can print vectrex cases 👍 Let us know if it's any good mate.

The Bug was and still is a brilliant joystick, always overlooked when people talk about classic joysticks. Vector Blade is brilliant Dave, so many powerups which is always fun on a shooter. Might do a vid at some point, maybe with both that and Vyrzon, will see. Cheers matey👍

Thrilled to have what I'm sure is a brand new Bug, brilliant joysticks but the one I've been using the past couple years was anyway heavily used, still good for a while longer though and then I can upgrade to this one. Haha yeah Daddies Hot Rod is certainly a bit of a.... quirky name😂

Good TI haul you got there Lee, I've got them all apart from Grail of the Gods-your Star Runner label looks to be a bit better than mine though. Don't get your hopes up for Daddie's Hot Rod, it scrolls terribly-but it's pretty much as is to be expected from TI related tape based stuff. The Spectrum Scramble and Pac-Man look great. I've been fairly quiet this month with regards to the collection. I got a few Amstrad CPC464 big box titles and some new 'old stock' titles too. I put up three shelves and now have the TI cartridges out on display. I had my eye on a few things on eBay and then forgot about them, so I am a massive twat as the stuff went for reasonably low prices.🙄 Never mind, there's always next month.

I was very lucky with my star runner label, aswell as junkman jr, those labels are usually quite rough when they do turn up which is seldom enough. I really need Tennis though!!! Grail of the Gods is well worth owning, very enjoyable relaxed game. Haha consider my expectations low for Daddies Hotrod, but happy to have it regardless, i don't have much cassette software for the TI99, never owned any back in the day. New shelves eh, would love to see your games room some day, must be full of retro goodness. Cheers as always Allan, hope you are well mate.

@@Tetlee Micro Tennis is really good on the TI, I've got it on cartridge along with Micro Pinball which is also decent. I might be brave and stick in an Arcade Shopper order at the end of the month......hopefully it'll be quicker than it was the last time.

“Grails of the Gods” should have been your thumbnail mate 😂 I’ve met Alan he makes some fantastic games for the speccy in fact I’ve got a few but not scramble that looks great! Berzerk is a personal favourite of mine I absolutely love that game, in fact I’m sitting next to the arcade machine now. Good to see some game play footage mate just a little to loud that’s all, but it does make for better viewing. Good to see some vinyl and Vector blade is absolutely amazing. Some very interesting games showcased in really enjoyable video 😎👍

Very nice mate haven't heard of many of these. I bought myself a copy of Jetpac recently (Speccy 😮) because it's just so good. I think there's a newish port of Sabre Wulf on the 64 I haven't tried yet. Scramble looks good 👍 Daddie's Hot Rod 👀 A boxed bug, very nice. I think I've only used one once before, but I remember it being comfortable. Will have to try your lager concoction sometime 🍻

Hey you have to do a vid of the C64 Sabre Wulf, one of my all time faves, something so addictive about it still. The Bug is such an underrated joystick, for me it takes some beating, so comfortable abd can switch between thumb and forefinger for shooting which is a real blessing. Cheers Richards buddy👍

One day I will pick up a BBC Model B with the MMC Solid State user port memory module which has hundreds of classic games on 😁😁 Had a BBC back in ‘83/84 as a teen but traded it in for a C64 😊😊 You have yours connected to an lcd tv via Scart 🤔 And has it yellowed much 🧐

I have a twin drive with mine, one with regular disk and the other with a gotek drive with hundreds of games, best of both worlds. Yes mine is quite yellowed, you can see it better in my room tour video from last Month😉 Oh yes and have it connected to an lcd via scart cable. Cheers for watching👍

The bug gets even better with age, the fact I can switch between thumb and finger for shooting, together with auto fire is an advisor blessing. So ergonomic aswell. Underrated joystick.
