1st Place Ice Barrier OTS Tournament deck profile 2024

Thanks for having me on again brother! Was a great time and always a pleasure gettin together! Just wanted to give a couple updates on the deck! Out of 2 locals the deck has gone 6-1-1. I’ve made 5 changes! Winds is now in the side deck, we cut a dragoons, and 2 moray for 3 imperm and a monster reborn. Finally, We replaced the 2nd coral dragon with a Zealantis so we can play under D Barrier and still clear boards, as we are water locked, essentially doing the same thing Marincess does if we can’t synchro.👍🏼 More to come!🙏🏼🫶🏽💯

Grant Im really impressed and great techs, I was hoping it wasn't gonna be the same cookie cutter crap with 20 handtraps all the lemmings play....AND YOU DIDNT DISAPPOINT phenomenal deck great work. If zelantis gets banned (which would be silly) try white aura whale it's sooo nice and extremely helpful White howling and deck lockdown in side I'm assuming???

@@jaredricci9278 Thanks Jared. Building decks is an ever evolving process and I never like to be the guy playing someone else’s deck. I think at this point there are alot of different takes and ideas on the deck, Some of which I’m still figuring out and exploring. Deck building is one of if not the best part of the game, so I definitely appreciate the support throughout the process! Best of luck building and playing ice barrier!

Hello, awesome deck and profile! What do you think of Graydle dragon? If you make it with mirror mage + tokens it pops 4 cards on the field, something to think about going second.

The Atlantean package seems interesting! Is the goal to summon back dragoons through prince’s effect, to act as the other level 4 material for bahamut shark?

some archetypes are just too good to play all gas with full support and this is totally one of them. advantage is so fragile in this game that using hand traps to counter something that isn't gonna stop bad matchups makes them worse matchups! I like how true to the toolbox playstyle this is because it ramps up fast and it can play smart against disruptions. funny enough some of these plays are similar to my Agent deck with the 3 level 10 synchros and floodgate monster end boards. Chengying the goat. (quick moment to thank the yugioh gods for reprinting diviner for my broke 🍑). awesome stuff guys thanks for sharing.

Nice decklist lads! I'm personally doing some testing with Ice Barrier Horus, and am liking the ease of access it's giving me to synchro 10's (Horus Monster + Mirror Mage) as well as the Rank 8 XYZ suite being available to abuse, especially the Zombie Vampire.

I don't like the word broken for these deck list. The card is really strong and plays hownthe card is supposed to play. Broken (at least for me) means a card plays outside the rules of yugioh. But killer deck list, I have a very similar build! I am gona knock ole Greg down to 2 as well.

I really like this profile. Gave me some ideas of my own. The Ice Barrier trap and the Tidal are really genius. Tidal is almost always live, it's fodder, and can dump a water. Ice Barrier helps you get to IceJade. What did you side deck tho? That's what I'm struggling with

I really wanted to crap on grant cause he is a heat scrub....but i have to say im very impressed. Yes all gas no handtrap bullcrap 100 agree. Its not pure or 7 million handtraps like i said im very impressed. But no graydle dragon and the whale you were soooo close. Usarctic ice barrier 60 card all gas no HT😉
