Branded version of this deck is kinda nutty. You can consistently make boards with Dragoon + Mirrorjade and if you have secret village on the field gg ez win because your opponent is not playing through an Omni negate + banish without being able to activate their board breakers. But if you don't want to play the branded package you can just play a small dogmatika package, since it also allows you to play Schism and make Winda. Winda + Secret Village once again is gg ez win.

This makes me so happy as Dark Magician is my favorite. I understand that part of the main reason it won was because of mystic mine, but a correctly built DM deck can do quite well and beat better decks. It obviously isn’t a meta deck but it can do very well. Before Diamond rank was added to MD, I hit Platinum 1 with DM. And there is another KZbinr who constantly gets to Diamond with DM. I know MDs 1 round is a lot different to TCG best of 3 but it still a powerful deck.

@@danday97 ​ My guess is he probably used Monster Timaeus on one turn and then recycled it again on another turn with Soul Servant. It’s not impossible to do but yeah it doesn’t happen often except in the games where you’d already have the upper hand.

@@danday97 i dont know if he said in the same turn but, if he recycles stuff he can do it some times, I think with a combination of hard drawing dark magician and the dragon, you can do it in 1 turn also consider that the spell is a quick spell so he can use it in the opponent turn and have 2 dragoons but it's unlikely.
