Wee update on the livery for this season thanks to Autographicnz!
First Round of Pro was rather eventful!!
Thank you to Kyle and Danica from @kylesmechanical who pit crew for me in the freezing cold, which was a massive help and was a bit weird not having to run around doing everything...
Thanks to Mitch from @Meltrefridgeration who had to welded the exhaust on track in the pits on Friday night straight of the trailer...
Track was wet and patchy in the morning but dried up for the battles which was good. Car was hitting boost cut at start of practice and thought we had it sorted before the battles......
Qualifying battle 1
Up against Johnny Latham Drifting in his Bmw and on my lead I put too much angle on initiation and messed up the run.
My chase Johnny's car cut out unfortunately.
Qualifying battle 2
Up against Dylan Rastrick Drift in his S13 on my chase I pretty much dropped too far back and was in the smoke most of the run.
My lead I went in way too hot and couldn't recover after turn 1 and drove off track on the "4wd line"
Qualified 17th scoring 0 on both leads and low scores on chase.
Top 32
Was up against Daniel Caldwell in his VIP S15, on my chase and I kind of spooked myself off the start and dropped back into the smoke line most of the run.
On my lead.. well I went in probably the fastest iv entered so far on this layout... however car hit boost cut right before I went to switch into second corner and flicked way too hard, lost speed and was about to spin when Daniel tapped me and then tapped me again which actually kept me on the tarmac and I spun.. got my first marks on the car which I guess is a achievement in a way..😂
Overall learnt heaps and hope to have the car somewhat sorted for Round 2!
