Yeah, the idea is to release the clutch a little bit with the engine revving and the parking brake on to preload the transmission and axles to avoid suddenly shocking them like dumping the clutch would. Old car version of launch control lol.

What are the small cameras you are using to record the tach and for the "Watching suspension" video's?

I have a whole bunch of em. I have a Gopro Hero 4 I use for the primary shots, it's the fancy camera. I have a Polaroid XS100, a Sony HDR-AS100V, it's the tach camera because it's taken a few tumbles, and a really cheap Chinese gopro clone

What do you have done to the CRX?
@MuffinRacing4 жыл бұрын
As it sits now: Ground control coilovers with supposedly revalved Koni shocks (by GC), 22 mm ST Suspension rear sway bar, front sway bar delete, cheap header and CAI, and some minor weight reduction. Still on it's stock engine at 209k miles.

@@MuffinRacing Awesome, Are you happy with the rear sway bar for autocross? I have been contemplating a bigger rear sway bar on my 89 Si for a while now for auto cross.

Yeah, I think it's just about perfect. I actually have the swaybar on the softest setting and I get plenty of rotation, so I don't think it needs to be any stiffer
