Welcome back to Rocket City! NCAA College Football 14 Dynasty is back on the channel! We begin season 2 with our 1st recruiting class in school history. For this season's episode 1 we face the top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. I show off our custom created RCU teambuilder dynasty team. We built them in the mod called CFB Revamped. We are an FCS school, but we are absolutely the worst team in CFB.

As a longtime fan this is something I like to call a good ole Drewski series extender. The team got too good too fast so he loses on purpose to keep the series exciting. He ran on 3rd and 8 after dominating with the pass all game lol

I discovered Drewski sometime in the middle of the UGF series... and let's just say that I don't watch him for his playcalling. Whether he's doing it on purpose for drama sake or he actually thinks it's a good idea to run play action when he needs to go 80 yards in 33 seconds... it will make your brain hurt if you think about it too much. That said, he's entertaining to listen to and really does breath life into fictional players/schools... so he doesn't have to be Nick Saban with the playbook. If missing open receivers was an issue for me, I would have stopped watching two years ago. lol

Even with the loss, this has been one of the most satisfying episodes of any series to date. Last season was a struggle to get anything moving on offense and now, especially in the first half, the team felt like it was finally firing on all cylinders against literally the hardest opponent. Can't wait for the next episode.

I think he tried to lose in the second half. Doesn’t get a TD from the 1 yard line, does a HB draw on the edge of field goal range, and goofs around with flea flickers on the final drive. Seems to me that he doesn’t want the team to do too well too soon and lose interest.

yeah it's extremely obvious when he suddenly stops throwing to the person who broke the receiving record, intentionally called horrible plays on the last Alabama drive and their own drive, held the ball way too long to get sacked, and then threw to someone completely covered when there was a wide open receiver. I understand wanting to make the series a grind, but gets old seeing intentional losses and then quitting the series once the team is good. Adjust the sliders to make it harder to win, but dont purposely throw the game

The AI in this game is always a bit inconsistent as well. As a long time NCAA14 player, there have been plenty of times where I am feeling good after a win / close loss vs a top 10 team one week only for the Akron Zips to drop 500 yards passing and 49 points on you the next week. This game in particular the Alabama run blocking looked really awful for most of the game after that first drive... now just watch some random Sun Belt team run for 300 against him in a few weeks. This game is consistent only in it's inconsistency. That said, I do agree that it's hard to keep things challenging on offense once you recruit a legit dual threat at QB. Staying away from the guys that can bail you out with their feet and rebuilding using only pocket passers adds an entirely new wrinkle to rebuilds.
