1st time caving experience at Gua Tempurung Tour 3, Gopeng, Perak

Had our first caving experience at Gua Tempurung, situated in Gopeng, Perak. We took the Tour 3 which is a 2.5 hours tour with Cave Ranger provided. This distance is 1.2km from the entrance to Golden Flowstone, Top Of The World and down through the underground river before returning to the entrance.
There were 9 of us consisting of 4 adults and 5 kids (ranges 7 to 13 years old). We took the Tour 3 which involved climbing up few hundred flights of steps and going through underground water tunnel. Be prepared for some wet experience wading and crawling through both dry and wet spaces. Some sections were so tight that only one person could go through. All in all, it was a great experience with the wonders of nature and going deep into the heart of our earth.
A few important notes for those are interested to take the tour. Wear light clothing, preferably long sleeve shirt and pants to avoid getting grazed by the rough walls, stones and stalagmites as you will be literally crawling through water. Wear aqua shoes or rent rubber shoes available at the entrance. Two of us had our trekking shoes and sports shoes bottom part ripped off while wading through the water. Headlamp is also a must as it's total darkness as you go deeper into the cave.

Can't remember exactly how long bcos this was few years ago. But from some other reviews, it mentioned about 2 hours. It also depends on how frequent you stop for photos, how big is your group, whether there's young children, etc. All these may cause some delays. But i reckoned 2 hours is about there.
