Tom explained that he was dreaming from the point he collapsed in the bathroom...He said in one of his lives the car represented his "dream car" it was the same make of car he saw when he was running in the rain to catch a bus to work as a carpenter and tripped and when he looked up he saw this make of car all lit up in the dealership window. He said he felt like it was mocking him ..saying you'll never be able to buy me....And he said he promised he would own that car someday! He also said that now he can buy it multiple times over for right now at least it just feels too frivolous of an expense. Love this , love the song and video. Great reaction as always! #HOG💕♥️♥️

That’s a reference to a different car. To understand the “car in the air,” you need to know the story of the Purple Lamborghini that was in the dealer window. You need to hear Tom tell it. Moral of the Floating Car: The floating Lamborghini is now in reach, but the “Stonger Version” has different priorities.

Of course my favs shift with every drop, but this is definitely my favorite rn. It's an anthem for a new year! I turned 39 last November and it's like all my give-a-f***s (in terms of how others see me and my insecurities) just evaporated and this song helps me keep on going for sure. I put it on when I clean my house and just DANCE, just like Tom does. And "lord I hit the ditch" always makes me think of the line in Angels "crash the whip and ditch the car" for some reason

Amie, I love this song too! Tom and this song inspired me to start working out again, and eating right! I was sick and tired of hating myself for NOT putting that work in. So since January 1st, I’ve worked out every day, my food isn’t 100% but it’s way better! That one lyric “I ain’t gonna hate myself no more” hit me like a ton of bricks!! It inspired 3 of my girlfriends from high school to start doing the same!! ❤ Thanks to Tom we are all #StongerVersion2024!! They aren’t even super Tom huge fans like me, but this song hit each one of us!! ❤❤❤ Tom looks so happy, healthy, and handsome in this video! I love it!

Tom is Amazing to me,, I think alot of people have already said what the car represents to him. EVERY THING Tom puts in a song is his real life, When you go back and watch his lives he has told us almost everything so when he makes a song , any song, HOG fam. knows exactly what he is saying and where it came from You won't find that with any other artist at least I haven't . So, the car hanging in the air (I was a bit confused @ 1st too) is cause in the video he is dreaming. When he's in the bathroom & grabs his neck then falls over, he's, I guess, passing out so when he sitting outside the car window & the car hanging in the air and all that it is a dream sequence. He did end up having to kinda explain that one after the video release as many didn't get that @ 1st. 😂 it makes sense once he explained a bit.

Yes, if I remember the story, when Tom was young, broke and practically homeless, he was up at 5 am walking in the rain to catch a bus to his construction job, tripped over his untied boot laces and fell in front of a car dealership. When he looked up, he saw a Lambo in the window and felt like it was taunting him. He said that one day he’d own that Lambo, then got up and went on to work.

Tom said this was the most scared he's ever been on a video shoot. When he was laying on the floor, Nova had like a 20lb camera rig precariously perched above him. He was afraid that it would break a couple ribs if it fell. lol

I agree, in this context I think the daisies symbolize new beginnings and rebirth. The Lamborghini is Tom's dream car (he's in a dream at this point in the video, get it? 😋). He is the first successful artist I've heard of that bought his father HIS dream car (a Porsche) before ever getting himself a car, much less his own dream car. Tom says it's too excessive of a purchase. He and Nova recently purchased their first ever vehicle and it WASN'T a Lambo. ❤🌼 I really like the sound of this song. It's a wonderful video and has a beautiful message. For the past few years Tom has dropped an inspirational song around Christmas as his present to us.
