Mikael (singer/main music writer for the band) has said this is his least favorite Opeth song... I personally like it and think its pretty fun and distinct in their discography

It always surprises me with how good it is everytime I hear it, but it is one of their weaker songs IMO. Still better than a lot of bands' best songs lmao

Definitely a different Opeth song. Mikael commented about it in a metal forum once: He said it's one of the worst songs he's ever written due to the circumstances surrounding Deliverance and Damnation. Personally I kind of like it, especially the guitar around 9 minutes, reminds me of the similar awesome part in Wreath. The Chorus is also nice, which in itself is kinda unique in an Opeth song.
