I’d love to see a video series taking a look at the various different Nome dredges in detail including the ones that aren’t being used or are in the “dredge graveyard”. I’m just as fascinated with the boats/dredges and equipment as I am the gold if not more so I think it be awesome to get in depth look at the dredges that aren’t on the show, people’s ingenuity and engineering. 🤿 🚤

Nice job Brian! I'm always amazed, though, at the very sketchy wiring and plumbing. The way cords and wireing are just pluged in and laying helterskelter etc. seems kinda of safety hazard. Be safe and get a boatload of gold!

Canadian Combat Diver. Bottom time is based on 120. Lets say 40ft is your planned depth minas depth from 120 = bottom time. In this example 80 minutes is your BT. Does not apply when repetitive diving is happening. Stay safe

Pretty cool stuff. Makes me wonder a couple things: Your work environment is tough one equipment and especially electronics. How long are you guys going to be able to keep it working properly? Also, do you ever sample the flow off the end of your sluice to see if you are losing gold? Your boxes look short, and it just makes me wonder. Heard Freddy Dodge talk a lot about how often people often lose gold that way.

Gold everywhere, we're just high grading the good stuff. It's not worth it to chase a 10% loss out the back. That time is better spent getting 3/4 oz an hour of fresh ground.

You might see me up there next summer.. some time back in one of your videos you were talking to someone and mentioned some local website (?) that the locals use to list items for sale etc.. I got the impression it was kind of like a craigslist but specifically to gnome there by chance, do you happen to remember the name of that? Aside from the local paper, The Nome Nugget, I haven’t found anything else? Great idea, just pay close attention to your mixture percentages You should invest in some good dive computers for your divers. Nitrox is great, but you must be very very qualified as you are entering the world of mix gas diving
