I'm assuming this was due to the lack of "social distancing?" My opinion has changed about this whole thing. My 94-year-old mother-in-law (94) is currently in hospice at a memory care facility (she has dementia). Three weeks ago she was diagnosed with C-19 and never got any symptoms... Never and they tested her 3 times. Many "experts" have been saying that we should be sheltering the vulnerable while not shutting down our country ruining countless lives and businesses. I'm 100% in that corner, especially since we are part of that "ruined business" category now.

I appreciate your perspective. And yes of course. Our economic situation has been ruined. Several members of our family got it, some did fine, barely any symptoms, one died, no real underlying conditions other then being in his 80's. The risk is real, its just how Covid works.

@@themusicoftckouyeasjr2742 thanks for saying something...yeah, this whole trip makes me very uncomfortable...seems so reckless right now when so many are losing their lives every single day across the country. It's like somewhere around 3,000 a day now...that's more than 9/11...every single day! It's heartbreaking! And I have friends who have lost their parents to Covid. I myself am highrisk because of my CRPS condition/disability and my asthma and my Dad was diagnosed with Cancer last year. I worry more about him than myself...he is also in his 70's and I don't want to lose him! He is a wonderful father and a veteran -- I wish people would take this more seriously in order to keep people like him protected...he deserves that. It bothers me that so many people aren't doing their part. I can't believe people are traveling right now and going to theme parks and not social distancing and not wearing masks...I just don't understand. How can you not see the truth...California's hospitals are now overwhelmed and a lot of hospitals across the country are! They are treating people in tents and ordering extra body bags and mobile morgue units. My friends who are nurses (one is in North Cali, the other in SoCal), are both trying their best to get through each day but they talk to me about feeling overwhelmed and I can tell they are so heartbroken and exhausted by what they experience every day! I am so sorry for your family, Acoustic, that your family had to suffer through this horrible illness and I am so sorry for your loss! God Bless you and yours! I feel so bad for everyone who is suffering because of Covid! I just wish people would take this all more seriously and stop pretending like its not a big deal!
