I worked in JHB 40 years ago, Lanseria was an airport for business Jets and all other kinds of Planes to small to land at Jan Smuts, it was also used by the military some times.

I did not know that Lanseria also did international flights. I just know it as a domestic airport for people who live nearby, when OR Tambo is too far for them.
