A few years ago I started collecting a clean romset that would try to be free of duplicates and in the best compressed formats. I wanted a frontend to consolize the emulation experience and RetroArch/EmulationStation DE didn't provide the features or system support I needed. Luckily, I discovered a fork called RetroBat that offered more than what I needed. I adapted my theme and borders to follow the Catppuccin color scheme so it would match my system, and added a few menu songs which i think turned out quite cozy :^). I tried to be faithful to the original hardware experience by including the bios boot menus and emulating composite output, though for the 6th generation of consoles and above I opted to go for HD resolution and widescreen because it generally looks better and im too lazy to port the shader from libretro to reshade. There is still work to be done but I think it's good enough to share as it is, go support the RetroBat devs ok thx goodbye!!!
