We have a few rounds of discussions with various parties back in October. They insisted their test result was accurate. They even shared the video to us. It was rather tricky to get the readings right for EC01X. Usually, we only spent about 20-30mins for one light, but we end up spending more than 2hrs to tweak and re-verify our results a few rounds. Unfortunately, I doubt it is going to show well on camera for 2km. However, I intend to compare EC01X with new Lumintop GT110 SBT90.2 (early sample) for the recording.

@@1thedeals According to what you have seen in your experience, the light will not reach 2500 meters as shown in the catalog: 3000 meters. I think mateminco is not giving the correct data. I have an acebeam k75 and it is clear that it outperforms the EC01X

@@sami-faisal K75 would outperform EC01X without a doubt but: 1) K75 costs 2.5 times than EC01X 2) EC01X battery would outlast K75 4*18650 for runtime 3) K75 is much bigger and heavier than EC01X

@@1thedeals Yes. But the EC01X battery is rare and when it gets damaged you won't find a spare easily. 18650 available. You can take 4 pieces in reserve. Is it really as I mentioned in the video 441200cd. 1328m?!!

We should also check the claimed battery size. Is it really or nearly 32000mAh? Did you test battery as well?

We didn't test this battery because it is too time consuming. I suspect test would last over than 24hrs to complete with conventional USB tester. Hope someone can finish the job with a programmable DC electronic load battery tester.

No way in hell that thing throws further than 1500m, just look at it. How the hell can they say it'll throw 3000m? My Lumintop GT110 throws just shy of 3000m. And the reflector in it is HUGE! Astrolux really F'ed up with their claim. Class Action Lawsuit incoming.
