'THE ARK' is a Multicolor group showing various images reflected by the public, not insisting the only one concept, meaning to be the new icon which is strong but delicate as well as active but independent.
The debut song 'The Light’ includes 5 charms of 5 girls who possess strong points of rap, vocal, and performance respectively, and is composed by Kim Tae Sung, who composed 'The Boys' of GIRLS' GENERATION, and Iconic Sounds, where Andrew Choi from K-Pop Star belongs, together. It is a contemporary R&B song based on the lyrical guitar riff adding groovy rhythm and hip-hop sounds.

I heard this song was dedicated to the students who perished in the sewol ferry tragedy and this song is very meaningful probably to those who did survive. I hope this song gets more recognition. Rest in peace to those students who passed away in that tragedy. I feel incredibly for those students parents who would give anything to bring their children back. I can't imagine anything like that happening to me or a loved one. Even if I didn't know them, I'm quite sure I'm not the only one who would give up things to bring them back

This is the most iconic debut in Kpop. I said what I said. Instead of introducing each member or having a debut song entirely ‘about them’ (which is not a bad thing at all, I’m not hating on groups who have done that kind of debut) they instead had a debut song that was entirely dedicated to the Sewol Ferry Tragedy victims and families. Also the sound of the song is very unique and different and has a nice hip hop sound to it that we don’t get very often in girl groups now imo. I agree with everyone saying that if they stuck together they would’ve been huge. Another talented group gone to waste.

The Sewol ferry tragedy was awful. This song is so beautiful and I’m glad it was made. I cannot not imagine the pain of watching your child go somewhere that you thought they’d be safe and protected, just for them never to comeback home, but to only come back home in a casket or urn. Tragic enough by itself, but I looked up about the tragedy (because of this mv). Response & so many things in so many ways got screwed up (like refusing international help & offers that countries were extending - because they didn't want to seem 'weak' on the 'world stage'). But the one thing that pisses me off the most is the choice made with the parents. Because obviously they were terrified. The kids were still trapped, still drowing, still dying, still in danger. And they contacted the parents (or communicated with them). AND LIED. They lied to the parents & told them that their children were ok. That they were safe & out of danger, while it was still the farthest thing from the truth. The additional pain that those parents had to go through because of the false hope they were 'gifted', and then learning the actual truth. Out of everything, that's the part that makes me so angrily appalled. As opposed to this mv, where I inevitably end up crying. Both when watching the mv & just listening to the song (granted I see the mv/parts of it in my head while just listening).

Wow... I knew when I saw the teaser that SOMETHING tragic would happen in this video when I saw the daughter running away, laughing in slow motion. My guess was right. This video made me cry SO much. It made me think about the most recent tragedies in K-Pop/Korea (such as the Ladies' Code + Sewol Ferry incidents). I can't even imagine what the parents of those who were lost went through + are still going through. You REALLY never know which day will be your last or the last with a loved one. The time when the bus started to lost control but they didn't know what's really happening and still laugh and making fun with friends because they never imagined their school trip will be a tragedy is the most saddest part to me. It reminded me of the time when sewol ferry started to sink and all the victims don't know everything, they just laugh, joking around with friends without knowing its their last trip together. Without knowing their life will end in the middle of the sea. Its really break my heart. The short story that they trying to delivered to us in this mv is so good and clear. Came back here after Seventeen's Seungkwan played this song in his VLIVE "Remembering KPOP." I have been a SHIELD ever since 2015, and I still miss them so much. Hearing The Light being played on broadcast, though only through VLIVE, felt very surreal. The Ark trended 3rd on Melon searches after the VLIVE. Seeing them on the chart... I am once again thinking of what could have been if they were only promoted well. I still hope all five members, Minju, Euna, Yujin, Suji and Jane reach their dreams! They are so talented and work so hard. We're in this for life, SHIELD! Still here for THEARK, and would never leave.

If you don't know the story, it was based of the Sewol Ferry Accident, so much people died here, but in the music video, It's similar, so in the first half, the mom was taking care of her daughter, when the daughter is going to school, she was either on a van or a bus or anything else, if you are halfway to the video, here's how it gets sad, the van or bus crashed and the mom watched the news and knew her daughter was there, now she was alone and lonely with no other family members, we don't know if the husband's there, and she starts crying when her daughter left the world, I always cry when I watch the video, in the end, it starts showing her daughter and her classmates in some scenes, and that's how the video ends

The drama it's The Idolm@ster KR. Idolm@ster are a very famous japanesse franchise (includes animation series, videogames, smartphone rythm games, cds, singers, live concerts...). We will see if it gets important in the Korean version too. I'm very fan of the Japanese franchise but I'm loving a lot the KR version too, the girls are super talented and the drama it's very interesting. The project group it's called Real Girls Project, both Suji and Jane are on the drama and the project but they are at different sub units, take a look on their last MV, it looks very official to me!

I know it is impossible for The Ark to have a comeback so hopefully I can find a girl group similar or like them. Their moves are so manly and cool, aside from having a very good song. They are very unique, and I really like girls dancing manly or like very powerful, that is why I'm really amazed and in love with them when they covered a BTS song, and they even got reactions from them. They are my top 2 after 2ne1. I just cant forget this group. They are really a legend. I almost lost my life due to a car accident a few weeks ago. I was sitting on the passenger side and my mom was the driver. She was dropping me off for volleyball practice. We suddenly got collided with another car and I just remember seeing my mom just lying there, confused, it's so vividly stuck in my head. This song really makes me appreciate the fact I'm still alive and so is my mom. I can't even imagine how horrible it would've been if either of us had passed.

This is such a heartfelt and emotional song and the video expresses exactly what it was supposed to x No matter how long ago it was we will always remember this tragedy and the people who were victims and affected by it. It's a horrible thing to think about but absolutely worth remembering both the victims and the people who sacrificed themselves and put everything on the line to help both those affected first hand and the now survivors x I hope this time the people in charge and the adults involved that acted irresponsibles and selfishly will not only be punished but will look back with a heavy heart and will change their ways. 2 years ago I tried to take my life due to a possible syndrome that attacks my immune system, causing a lot of pain and a lot of stuff. I remember feeling so much pain, I was scared and I was really sad because I gave up and didn’t wanted to leave the people who I loved. Thankfully, I survived. Then time passed and this song suddenly appeared again when I was randomly scrolling my YT timeline. I watched it again and I busted in tears. Thank Lord, He gave me another chance to live with my mom, the most precious person that I have in my life. The person who always took care of me and loved me with the most pure and powerful love. I’m better now, the everyday challenges and treatment persists, but I promised to her that I would never give up again. I want to live happily with her until the end. Thanks, mom.
