My honorable mention: Be Afraid of the Dark (Yoshi’s Crafted World) When a level begins by saying “If he see’s you, run away…” only to then have an army of axe wielding clown dolls hunt you down, you know you’ve entered spooky territory.

You now how you did Mario characters as Heist members? How about doing it with the Smash Bros roster? Many more to choose from there. Here's who I'd personally choose for each role. Isabelle as the Brains. Reason: She's the secretary to the Mayor in her home series, so organization is no problem for her. I also know someone who drew her as a member of the Suicide Squad once, alongside Min Min. Wolf as the Safecracker. Reason: He's a space pirate, so thievery is likely in his job description. And he has sharp claws to boot, adding to the precision of his role. Mega Man as the Hacker. Reason: He's a robot, nuff said. Kirby as the Master of Disguise. Reason: Pretty obvious, but he can disguise himself as anyone. Whether it's a convincing disguise or not is probably debatable. Ganondorf as the Muscle. Reason: He holds the Triforce of Power and can turn into a giant boar demon. Granted, any of the heavyweights and martial artists could be a contender for this role, but I feel Ganondorf is the most likely candidate. Snake as the Gunman. Reason: He's among the few characters in the roster who actually uses firearms. On top of that, he has extensive military training and of course, he is the son of the legendary soldier/mercenary Big Boss. Captain Falcon as the Driver. Reason: He's a racer. Mii Fighters as the Wild Card. Reason: They are customizable fighters, so unique abilities are their specialty. If not them, than probably either Steve or Mr. Game & Watch because of how unexpected they were when revealed.

Luigi's Mansion is full of dark and scary stuff. But from King Boo possessing Bowser to Helen Gravely's Last Resort Hotel, the Possessor Ghosts from Dark Moon are very dark. Because of them, you have to fight a big mama spider, a strair case, an ice monster as you're going down a hole, and a giant knight in the paranormal dimension. (The clock tower fight is not like the others. It's not as dark.)
