I've done this with friends and it's a lot of fun and incredibly helpful to improve, but oh man is it brutal, skill differences are laid bare BTW if you have armor on and a plate in your inventory you can see your health bar, which is nice to have feedback on how close fights are. Also obviously playing on 250 health plus spare plates let you add handicap

Crazy to see the difference in prs how some lower skilled players seemed more high skilled than higher skilled players around the 1kds region I feel like I should be a higher kd but I just make dumb plays a lot because I’m thirsty for kills my pr is 27 in rebirth and I’m a 1.31 kd to put it in perspective and my friend I play with is 1.78 kd but his highest pr is 23 and I feel like my movement is better than his and our aiming is about the same he just makes smarter plays than I do that’s for sure just spectating him I’m just not that patient I always want the next kill lol

As a 0.87 kd player, I define you know I am better than the contestants up until 1.0 kd, I see all the mistakes the 1.0kd player is making and I’m positivite im better than him, it sounds cocky but I know it’s true. The 0.77 player was alright he could work on his aim and the thing he struggled on the most was his stim timing, he didn’t let his stim fully process before he rechalled instead he just rechalled the second he popped his stim. Even the 1.43 kd player was making crucial mistakes, ego challenging is the main issue for all of the players in this video, sure it’s not a corner watching game but they do need to be smarter with angles instead of just rushing into an open area and trying to spot their target.

You're probably on a default controller, right? If you don't play claw, and don't have back buttons, then you can't really slide AND jump in gun fights without taking your finger off the right stick. You can try playing with bumper jumper tactical (flipped) until you get a better controller. It's gonna feel really bad at first and will take some time getting used to, but it's worth it.

Actually--besides fall damage the reason the average is less than 1 is because players in the lobby average only get maybe 80% of the kills, with the remaining 20% going to the top few players in the lobby. Most of the missing deaths are those that make up the high K/Ds of the stronger players
