Dual channel is a much better choice now because modern game engines utilise the extra bandwidth provided by dual channel more effectively, which results in bigger performance differences between single channel and dual channel.

How come? DDR5 prices is much cheaper compared to 2021 - 2022 I got 16x2 (32 GB) before 7 months & they were $160 I saw them last week for like $100 , and 2x32 (64GB) kit for like $200 Back in 2021.. 2x32 was like $500.. $500 Vs $200 is like a huge difference Still.. 2x32 is kinda a waste of money, no game really benefits from 64GB.. most games only use 12GB to 20GB.. 32GB (2x16) is already more than enough (will be the sweet spot until 3-5 years mostly)

Typically Dual and Quad Channel Memory runs faster due to high Bandwidth available.. Sometimes is can be over 10% Faster FPS.

Unlucky in Quad Channel mode memory work on lower clocks, but I think it is still faster, than single channel, but I'm not sure that quad channel with such clocks is faster than dual channel.

Not sure why anyone would willingly run a single stick but when one of my ram sticks went bad I had to run a single 16GB stick for a week and I could definitely feel the worse 1% lows / stutters, especially in Atomic Heart which I was playing at the time, Ram is GSkill DDR4 3600 CL16 (2x 16gb) / 13600K / 3060 Ti / 1080P 144Hz.

depends one the platform, nowadays the normal consumer CPUs support maximal Dual Channel. So they can address 2 ram sticks parallel, 4 sticks don't make a performance difference. It can even be worse if very high transfer rates can't be hit anymore. Threadripper/Epyc or Intel HEDT platforms or Server CPUs can support Quad Channel or sometimes up to Octa Channel.

Ryzen 7000 series processors do not run in Quad-channel, only dual channel. With most AM5 motherboards there are 4 memory slots, but two slots belong to one channel

Despite DDR5 running in "dual-channel" on a single stick, the Bus for each channel is smaller than DDR4. Both DDR4 and DDR5 DIMMs have a total of a 64-bit data channel, but DDR5 is more like 2x32-bit per stick +2x8-bit for ECC. DDR5's real advantage is with ECC RAM.

It's not dual channel, it's "dual channel" (in quotes). There's definitely more memory bandwidth, but it's still single vs dual channel here. It's dual channel-ish compared to DDR4, but our standards have to change with tech as well. This supposedly "dual channel" is single channel. And it really is though, at least physically.
