Professor Nuts is an institution. While he puts lyrics to music sometimes, Nuts can perform without music and still get the place burning. Some say he is a comedian. Not really. He sometimes goes down the comedy route. At other times, Nuts talks about social ills too albeit in a relaxed almost funny way. Jamaica is blessed to have such an icon. I will always remember our days on the university campus in Nigeria playing and singing out loudly to Inna de Bus....inna de Bus......It didn't matter that the song was made in a country thousands of miles away from where we were. We could easily relate with the lyrics cos nuff ah we used to use dat same line on the Lagos bus conductors.........you know mi just get rob.....Bless up Professor Nuts

Respect. But Admiral Bailey is so versatile with his call and response style. So much range. Nuts is like the guitarist doing solos but Bailey is the rhythm section. Sets the mood, tone and direction based on his expansive knowledge of classic dancehall routines and the ability to just start making noise that works. Amazing vibes. Fucking tasty tunes.

Seani B this tough and nice, its a pleasure to see the great Professor outta Edgewater, and the Big Belly Admilral. To this date, i still have Nutts VHS of Downbeat The Ruler performance, and Kangol Sound VHS with Nutts/Lecturer/Pinchers....i only watch those VHS like every 6 years or so. i treat them like vintage wine....because it still amazes me that even in the 2020, there is not a jamaican performer that can put fear into an artist or sound system lwhen he holds the mike like Proff Nutts. Nutts can still to this day, lockoff any sound currently....He is the walking lyrical University...the only man that finish riddim, till you haffi start back again.....some dj’s lyrics done in 2:20; Nutts runn lyrics past 5:55....Big Up legend, your videos are History in the Making....
