One of the things I love about Rodigan is the dubs that he possesses and the knowledge he has of the scene. It’s amazing. I do remember the early days with Black Londoners Show with Steve Barnard and Tony Williams and Rodigan , and was so excited the night that Greg Edwards Soul Spectrum on Capital, Came on the Mike and Said we are introducing Roots Rockers Show and i remembered that he played the Michael Prophet Dub of False Teachings , while i was listening with my cassette player on Pause at home , indeed revolutionary times

Talking 👄 their nonsensical arguments about David Radigan, and I don't believed they are saying about the reggae music industry. Most of them does not know the intricacies about the history of the Jamaican music at all, because Radigan and Barry G is the two most exciting guys. Who carries the reggae music industry to higher heights, than anyone of them that is living in England 🇬🇧. I useto in England for a while and, my father went to England 🇬🇧 in 1957. Millie Small was one of the first Jamaican with her song ,my boy lollipop 🍭. I useto looked forward on Saturday night for Radigan and Barry G clash,I heard some Jamaicans in England 🇬🇧 is claiming. That they are bigger than Barry G, but not in my book. Radigan is beloved in Jamaica, he is like a king 🤴. I don't believed that anyone in Jamaica would want to hurt David Radigan at all, he is a house hold name in Jamaica. I am almost 70years now, and my uncle was a musician from the days of mento. Before all Bob Marley and companies was born, the man who really started the music industry in Jamaica. Before Bob Marley Alton Ellis, John Holt just to named a few of them is. His name was Vere John migrated from Jamaica 🇯🇲 in 1924 to New York city in the United States and, got involved into the music industry. By having talent contests show recruiting people to sing, and he returned to Jamaica in 1939 and. Continued with his 👋 talent contests show, and he found John Holt, Millie Small, Bob Marley, Alton Ellis. He useto have a show on RJR radio station name the Vere John opportunities show, he died in 1966.So anyone of them you hearing them talking 👄 about the history of the reggae music industry. Just asked them if they know who is Vere John opportunities show, who returned to Jamaica in 1939 from the United States and. Started his talent contests show, before Bob Marley and companies was born, Bob Marley was born in 1945. There is a lot of information, I could tell you. But let it stay until another time ok 👌 Tony Ska, are living in England 🇬🇧 or Jamaica 🇯🇲. I am living in the United States 👍 ok 👌

I am a middle aged white man in the UK and so I can't pretend to know how David Rodigan is received in Jamaica. I believe Jamaican people could easily spot a fraud or someone who is not genuine in their love of Reggae. I grew in the UK in the 70s and 80s and fell in love with the Ska revival of The Specials, Selector, The Beat. It brought unity to the youth when others tried to divide us. From there my love spread across to Reggae and the music David Rodigan was playing. Reggae music to me is about bringing people together.

Her aunt useto come by the community where I was born, the aunt name Princess 👸 Alice and. The people them who she was staying with they were family from England 🇬🇧 name the Michelin, I know the Queen 👸 sister Princess Margaret 👸. I saw her in 1962 August 6th independence day in Jamaica 🇯🇲,because the queen was pregnant with a baby. I know a lot of those singers from in 1960s, John Holt, Millie Small, Bob Marley, Desmond Decker, Toots and the maytals, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailers, Gregory Issac, Errol Dunkley,Ken Booth, Ken Parker, Alton Ellis, Dennis Brown, Dobby Dobson, Roy Shirley, Slim Smith, Delroy Wilson, Jimmy Riley, Max Romeo, Jacob Miller, Horace Andy,Ernest Smith, Prince Buster, Derrick Morgan, Judy Motta, Maria Griffiths, Nora Dean, Rita Marley, Horace Andy,Junior Byles,DJS Machukie, King 🤴 Stitch, UROY, I Roy,Dennis Alcapone, Big Youth. These are the 1960s DJS them, the rest of them come after. I can give tons of information 💁‍♀️, like sound system from way back, man 👨 like King Tubbys Hi-fi power sound system, the greatest sound system ever in Jamaica 🇯🇲. So when you hear 👂 anyone of them is talking 👄 about sound system, they cannot compared to King Tubbys Hi-fi power sound system. He is the one who created Dubs,for sound system. He has his own studio 🎙, I know in 1968 when UROY was dj for him ok 👌.
