The best way I've found to get better at anime figurine sculpting,is to either watch lots of them on youtube, or check out people on twitter who do sculpting too Learning the way the anime heads curve is a big thing to get down too The clay he is using, looks like Fimo brand white clay Alot of people use Sculpey brand clay since it holds details very well and when baked can hold its self

@@socrates1796 No one is born talented, it's just that some people have the passion to practice diligently, no matter how many times they fail, because that's how you learn. Anyone who has the will to learn will be able to do so, be it through school, tuition or internet.

@@tomascirelli2764 u probably never see someone who works toward something and never reach it no matter how hard they work, talent is real. talent + hardwork = this guy, hardwork without talent? u still can do it, but u will never beat a guy with pure talent, and the difficulty of learning between non talent and full talented is like heaven and earth in art especially, talent is really important, because people who has talent can see something ordinary people cant see, thats why it called "art" the quote "when life give u lemon, then made lemonade" is happen here dude

I'm a Sculptor so I give u my ten cent... Watching and reading books can only take u to some point cuz all it does is strengthen Ur thinking around Sculpting steps...what u actually need is to nurture Ur hands and master the skills ...for that u need a lot of practice, you need a lot of failure(failure from experience will teach u more than any teacher) and always be ready to take critism from critics and always ask others to look at Ur art because when you focus too much on a piece your eyes fail to see errors that normal eyes can easily see
