Converting a 1zz-fe harness to 2zz-ge harness for a Toyota Celica

I am switching engines and of course the junkyard chopped the wires. I do have the old harness was glad to see this. I am going to pass this video on but if there is a issue can i send them to you for the fix.

I have a Toyota Matrix 2005 1zz , going to swap to 2zz what can I do to make my 1zz harness work with 2zz engine . If u have any more Information how to do it, please help me that.

You’ll need a 2zz computer. You can buy the pigtail connectors at an auto parts store for the lift solenoid and oil pressure sensor and run wires from the pigtails to the computer connectors.

Hello brother.i finally got a manual ecu but it wont start the car.engine only turns but cant start.do i need to do any sort of programming?

You shouldn’t need programming. Make sure you have spark, fuel, and compression. Are the injectors firing? Is there fuel in the rail? Are the coils firing?

Will an automatic Ecu work for a manual 6speed if applied this method?

I don’t think it will. I would get an ECU for a manual car.

Funny thing is that it starts and the car runs, though some components don't work like the temperature and fan don't come on
