Listening Part #3 Question 6 , the answer you provided is incorrect according to me, I think the answer should be "A" - A Taxi driver in US must not accept vegies in exchange for services. You have marked answer as "D". which Speaker clearly says that US cannot accept Vegies as money. so not sure how the answer can be "D" .. please explain.

I can’t say it’s easy or tough but whatever we score in these mock tests is mostly correct. I was getting 8or 9 points in all the mock tests n in finale got 10. So definitely keep practising and everything would be super kool.

For Question 6 of the last section i.e. on online encyclopaedias when and where does it ever talk about selecting only established articles to have read-only format? it just says in general articles have read only facts that cannot be tempered. But no mention of 'established articles'.

There is no passing score, Saoirse. It all depends on the points you need for immigration. You can calculate your CLB score by checking the chart provided at the end of the answer key.

Hi, In Part 3 if you listen carefully the Woman clearly says " In The United States only coins and bills are legal tender, meaning that by Law a seller must accept them as payment. The Taxi Driver MUST accept coins or bills as payments for a Taxi Ride. But in the US, Taxi Driver is NOT required to accept vegetables in exchange for a ride..so a narrower definition of money might be whatever is legal Tender in a society , whatever has to be accepted as payment. So the Question 6 of part 3 Which of the Following is True : The obvious answer is B as the woman says In US Taxi Driver MUST accept coins or bills as Payments as that is the legal Tender in US and not vegetables but whatever is the Legal Tender in a society. So how does Vegetables become legal Tender in US when the whole clip talks about coins and bills being Legal Tender in US and Taxi driver must accept that as payment and not vegetables. If we get our correct answers as incorrect then how are we to trust the marking systems where we would not even know if we really went wrong or someone who is marking us based on whatever answers they have been fed/entered in the system whether correct or incorrect how do we identify and cross check and mark errors from the other end in spite of giving right answers??

A taxi driver in the US must not accept vegetables in exchange for services (This is false: the woman says, they are not "required to" which means they can if they wanted. "Required to" does not signal prohibition. B. A taxi driver in the US must only accept legal tender (This is false: the problem is with the word "only". They must accept legal tender, but this doesn't mean they cannot accept anything else). C. A taxi driver in the US is allowed not to accept legal tender (This is false: the speaker clearly says that the driver must accept coins and bills) D. A taxi driver in the US can accept either money or vegetables (This is true: according to the speaker, the driver must accept money but although he is not required to accept vegetables, it is not against the law to do so). * As you see, the key to this question is the phrase "not required to" which does NOT mean prohibited or banned.
