i feel like an interesting buff to cannoneer would be to give it an extra tile of range, just enough so it can see the bridge but not the opponent’s side. i think this would help because it’d indirectly nerf dart goblin, as well as other cards which always get a hit on your tower if you dont have perfect reaction speed.

especially because dart goblin is common in log bait decks, which cannoneer struggles against, making those matchups less of a steamroll.

@ no, it would delete princess at the bridge. logbait decks usually have swarms, so tanking for the princess wouldnt be hard.

@@dln_yt I think this is an interesting concept but the tower troop itself would almost be *a 0 elixir hard counter* against those cards. Not to mention the consequences that come with increasing the size to be at the bridge would make the other tower help closer to the middle and remove the blind spot in the middle. In the current state or cannoneer, dart goblin only gets one hit if untreated and I think cannoneer is fine as is
