Cyber crime is a type of crime which is done with the help of network and computer devices. And it has become a big threat to India as there is no particular human resource which can chase these criminals and take actions against them. There was 77 percent of increase in cyber crimes in 2017 in comparison with 2016. UP and Maharashtra are the 2 States where the rate of cyber crimes is very high. And because India is moving towards digitalization this is the need of hour to look after the cyber security. A great number of citizens in India are using online platforms for payments as well as shopping and stuff like that so this is indeed a great initiative of Indian government to create a separate group of people in IT sector to strengthen the cyber security in order to pre-empt cyber crimes.
