This is fantastic. I remember looking for a video like this a few years to explain fundamental characters between FDD and TDD and there were none available. This is perfect. I like how you have also painted a commercial lens as this helps to understand business decisions. Very well rounded presentation for such a short clip.

In large events like music festivals and sports events, people use more data in the uplink direction than downlink. Therefore it is necessary to use FDD or modified TDD with uplink ratio higher than downlink.

Have you had symptoms such as fatigue, headaches, poor memory, difficulty sleeping, and lack of clarity in your thoughts? It may seem like these could be the results of daily stress and frenzy, but there could be another culprit. All of these are symptoms of electro-sensitivity, which is something that more and more people find themselves affected by. Studies conducted in 1997 found "less than a few cases (of electro-sensitivity) per million", however now as much as 2.5% of the population is affected by electro-sensitivity. Even with the most moderate calculations, electrosensitivity is 10,000 times more common today than it was 20 years ago. Why could this be? Electro-sensitivity and its symptoms appear to be triggered by certain microwave frequencies of electromagnetic radiation. Due to their high frequency, microwaves allow for higher transmission rates and smaller antenna sizes, which is perfect for high-tech devices that are constantly getting smaller and faster. These are devices such as cell phones, tablets, laptops, and any device that can connect to Wi-Fi, which can now include TVs and refrigerators

Both FDD and TDD require precise timing and it has nothing to do with upstream vs downstream. The LTE frame is very complex, with multiple time slots and all devices have to be synchronized. This is maintained with Precision Time Protocol (PTP) to maintain timing within 1.5 µS. Also, TDD isn't a simple up & down, with guard time as you show. A frame is very complex and often has the uplink and downlink slots right next to each other. It's the precision timing that allows this to happen and the transmitting device actually adjust when it sends a time slot

HI!! Can anybody explain why we can not communicate both ways for Half Duplexing method?
@LTE4G7 жыл бұрын
+sujoy saha - we can communicate both ways. But not simultaneously.
@sujoysaha97687 жыл бұрын
Thank you. but please tell me why in Half duplexing we cannot communicate simultaneously.Is it then became full duplexing process? or there is any obstacle in half duplexing which not allow both way communication simultaneously.
@LTE4G7 жыл бұрын
+sujoy saha - You are getting it wrong. The system which cannot communicate simultaneously both way are called halfduplex not the other way. Actually there is no system which is completely full-duplex. In full duplex systems we just use two different channels simultaneously for uplink and downlink. You can say full duplex is a combination of two half duplex. Hope we were able to clarify your doubt.
