If she did, John would not have blindsided the way he was and also maybe the outcome would've been different. Marty didn't make Natalie sleep with Brody. She did that on her own. Marty didn't make Natalie lie to John. She did that. So stop blaming Marty for everything. You're talkin about Marty trying to hold on to John yet Natalie was doing the same thing. @Kyle Sanders If Natalie thought that Jessica couldn't handle it, she should've taken her to St. Anns, sat her down with her doctors and told her the truth like John said. Jessica would've gotten the help she needed. But no it was much better to lie and keep everyone in the dark. I really didn't like the treatment of John during this time. Everyone did him wrong. Everyone in Llanview made countless excuses for what Natalie did. No one saw the error in what she did. No felt that she was wrong for what she did. Everyone felt that she was "protecting" by lying to him about the paternity of the baby. Well if that's protection then I don't want it

Kyle Sanders See the night that Natalie and Brody slept together, they both were drunk and made a stupid mistake. Natalie thought she lost John to Marty and she was going to leave Landview, Brody thought he lost Jessica (who at the time thought she was back in High School because of Mitch Lawerence), to Christian but Ford ended up sleeping with her. And that’s why Clint altered Jessica’s paternity test to make Brody the Father instead of Ford. So, yea if Marty had never altered Natalie’s paternity test John would have known that he was the Father not Brody.
