Just clicked this link because I wanted to hear a decent sounding cover. Was blown away by the genius of this performance.

Holy Crap !! The middle break; simply amazing. I have cherished memories of watch The Peanuts Specials and a young boy, and Linus & Lucy is my all time favorite piece of music. Not toally due to the complexity of the music, but more so due to my thoughts of a simplier time in my life. A smile always appears when I hear it........... Thanks Milwaukee WI

He cops the piano licks and the timing of the bridge dead on. That bit separates the hacks from the hackers

F...me, he retunes as 3:25. Just rub it in why don't you Andrew. Freakin brilliant!!!
@TheDanielTunstall2 жыл бұрын
I think he retunes it at least twice during this song, if not more. I agree he's brilliant and it's beyond me how he can keep playing while retuning 2:35

For some strange reason Angeline the Baker comes to mind as if this could be an exotic variation, having only heard Duck Bakers steel guitar solo almost 40yrs ago.

Why do you have a sleeve on right arm?
@ScarletSalvation9 жыл бұрын
+Colin Bakalyar Not tennis elbow. It is to give your right arm free range of motion to move the guitar from bridge to neck for dynamics. It is common for classical guitarists to wear them when they don't have long sleeve shirts on. Otherwise, if the arm gets sweaty it can stick to the guitar and limit your movement.
@jgrossma7 жыл бұрын
What Scarlet said. Classical guitarists often wear these "socks" (sometimes made from a cut off sock) over the right arm, right where it meets the top edge of the instrument. Reason is just so that the right arm can slide freely on the edge of the guitar during play. Otherwise it can stick there making reaching more difficult, or just rub against the wood, wearing out the guitar finish and also being uncomfortable. If you look at a Fender Stratocaster *electric* guitar, there is a bevel cut into the wood at the exact same spot, more or less for the same reason. Some nicer classical guitars have built in armrests installed there as an alternative.

Ditto to what the previous respondents said. I call mine a "portable sleeve."
