Please give me an explanation why taking midpoint of 4 and 6 as centre of circumcircle of pentagon

At point 4 we get square (four sides), at point 6 we get hexagon (6 sides). Hence, at the mid-point of point 4 and 6 we will get the shape of pentagon (5 sides) because 5 is mid between 4 and 6.
