2 15” skar vxf slamming! in the impala ss bubble

we fixed the wiring in the 96 impala ss. and the 15” subwoofers are slamming with the hifonics 3300 watts amp. now to design a new custom enclosure. stay tuned to see what we come up with

Great job, bro. The Impala is looking nice. I was thinking on the doors , make sure the ds18s are not grounding out. Put some dynamite in the back of it on both speakers. Two things that you might want to do. Use shrink tubing on the speaker terminals for the door speakers and mount the amp to a piece of wood to keep it from bouncing around the trunk.

i’m definitely going to do that. i did that on my caprice. it’s a cleaner and safer install. just need to find a good mounting spot for the amp.

A d4s amp with a plexi backplate would look good in that final drawing he had, one side have the impala logo the other you can see in the amp 😮‍💨

good idea. we are going to a switch it up a little bit on the enclosure design. but the amp walls will stay the way he drew them.

@ skar the truth I had 1-15” skar and buddy had 4-12s in his bubble caprice and my 1 15 was slamming harder in my ss made bro go redo his box and set up had same box u got just made for single 15”

The speaker wire plugs on the box they will always get hot and melt and give you a bad connection...get some metal ones or just bypass them

The amp could sit however, it doesn’t affect anything. As long as the power/ground and speaker wires are secure it doesn’t really matter nothing bad will really happen.
