So glad to see you guys are OK after the livestream. I think these kind of maintenance videos are really insightful. A lot of people get fish and don't have a clue of the maintenance involved or the costs of owning fish and maintaining tanks. Plus, a lot of us watching want to see what goes on around the rescue on a day to day basis. Even if you think it's boring, a lot of us enjoy watching what you guys do.

An aquarium hobbyist is always interested in how other aquarium fish keepers maintain their aquariums and filtration systems. It never gets old, at least for me. I'm 57 and have been in the fish hobby since I was 7 and I'm always looking to learn more. So yes please keep the maintenance videos coming. I enjoy them.

I thought it was interesting to see how much the rays avoided using their tails/barbs. I've swam with ocean stingrays, but never with fresh water. So it was interesting to watch their defensive behavior which was entirely swimming away. Busts some of the myths. Poor Reaper must have just had really bad luck!

Please stop telling your viewers how boring you think it is while recording the content. There is such a thing as being too plain-speaking. If you find it tiresome to find something to say then select a signature OFR elevator-music track from YT and dub that over the entire segment once you do your intro. This sort of stuff first brought me to the OFR channel. The other clear options are to cut back on the upload schedule or, to give yourself a break, let someone else be the camera operator for the stuff you don't like.
@ohio-fish-rescue11 ай бұрын
Dude your all wrong here I said I thought this kinda video is boring. And you ALL said it's not, so ill keep doing this kinda video

@@ohio-fish-rescue I think I understood the situation perfectly fine but I don't want to upset you or cause you *more burden* for OUR sake. Which is why I made two alternate suggestions there. You obviously have a lot on your plate 24/7/365 without making the kind of video you find "boring". SFMF
@chrisdef1511 ай бұрын
Of course rays don’t want to hurt themselves by stabbing someone. But plenty of history of them doing it. These are fairly tame rays who have spent plenty of time around humans. This video is 50/50. People need to know they aren’t scary. But people need to know they can mess you up. Mess around like this with wild ones in murky water things might be very different.
@ohio-fish-rescue11 ай бұрын
I have swam with over 50 rays in the ocean. They don't bother you. The problem is they're buried under the sand you don't see them , and then you step on them and you get hit , that's the only time they attack
