Hey man can you change a fuel pressure regulator gauge on a 2.3 like urs but not turbo with out taking the upper intake off in the throttle body??? If I have to take the upper intake off can I just gasket sealant on it thanks for any info!! My car is running like shit it's fine when it is cold then it gets hot it spits sputters just put new plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter motor has 1k780 miles on it did the timing belt like 6 months ago I am aiming for a bad fuel pressure gauge dose the fuel pressure sensor ever go bad?? Any help man I can't find nothing about 2.3 engines like that mine just ain't a turbo!! Thank you

You should be able to take it off without taking the intake off. They are allen head bolts, there is 3. But if you do end up taking the intake off you can use rtv silicone black and it will seal

Yep. That’s the upper and the lower bolts to the upper and the engine

kamryn G this engine is a 1987 ford 2.3 which is not an interference motor

@@HaywardRacing I dont think any of the 2.3 ford engines nor the 2.5L ones are interference motors. I know you can make them an interference motor if you upgrade the valves

Using antifreeze in the car all year around is a good idea. It helps prevent corrosion and won't disipate as easily

@@HaywardRacing I wanted to swap mine out with a K20 I might stick with the 2.3 liter. I have to find a new coolant reservoir tank but they have been discontinued by ford.

You can’t in a drag car. The tracks do not allow coolant only water unless it’s street car night
