hey Rhykker. it actually does matter a little bit in which one you select for the furious charge rune. yes your furious charge gains every rune. but they do not gain the unique weapon damage buffs or the elemental damage that they offer. :) great video as always.

Raekor is be far my favorite Barb set, and I've been messing around with different combinations on the PTR as well. Another extremely effective version of this build is: -Full 6 piece Raekor -Physical build, wielding an Ancient 30% increased Physical damage roll Heart Slaughter. -Aquila Cuirass and the new Band of Might in the cube add MASSIVE survivability. Combined with Ancient Parthan Defenders, I'm rolling with 200M+ Toughness at all times. Without Ignore Pain. Pop that, and you almost literally have to try to die. -Boulder Toss for your Fury dump and to keep F&R going. With the Raekor's 6 set and all the Physical damage multipliers, it gets 25 Billion+ crits. Just wrecks whole elite packs in one cast. My favorite part of this build is that you can effectively ignore cooldown reduction and focus on damage. This build has less up-front charge damage than the build in the video, but makes up for it in super dirty spike damage via Boulder Toss and the greatly increased survivability. Aquila + Band of Might + APD is an absolutely insane Toughness boost. Love your vids! Keep at it!

I'm going a similar build, but 6 Raekor and 4 IK, the 6 Raekor bonus is insane for boulder toss, it's much more damage. Also the new boulder toss gloves and the new ring that gives up to 60% damage reduction after charging is insanely good

If anyone wanted to use the Raekor set itself, and not using Immortal King's 6 piece, I've found excellent results with the 6 piece bonus of Raekor. Using what is rather poorly rolled gear (I have like 2 Ancient pieces of gear) I'm hitting for more than 300 Billion (rarely) using Ancient Spear - Boulder Toss. Sure, I don't do a lot of damage with Furious Charge, but when I can 1-shot a T10 Rift Gaurdian, I'm content with that sacrifice

hey man great video! can i ask you how much cooldown reduction is needed for this build? most people say just 12.5% on helm and 10% from paragon, but in the previous patch we need more than this, like 33%

+livio caputi I go with 12,5+10 too. In before we needed that when we hit less than 4 creeps. But now with set bonus "refund charge when you hit only one mob" we dont need to stack it anymore. Another thing is that nowadays there are much more needed stats than cdr. More cdr would help somewhere, but from more dmg stats you benefit whole time.

There is an item called the Ring of Royal Grandeur that reduces the number of items you need by 1 :) You get the ring by doing Act 1 bounties.

With charge having all runes with the IK set bonus and of those runes three include changing charge's damage to an element type, does that mean that charge then has all three elements as part of it's damage? Which means that charge would receive damage bonus from items with +% fire/lightning/cold dmg? Is this correct?

+Michael Bentsvi Everytime you use the ancient spear attack, it empties your fury and that causes a chunk of the CD to go away. It takes 3 hits for the CD to finish completely.So just throw the rock after every 2 charges and your WOTB will always be off CD (also it heals you if you have good life for fury spent)

César Dávila, thanks, by now i also discoverd this. Still this build is a bit tricky if you charge 2 to 4 enemys at a time. Need to make sure it's either 1 or 5 and more or else you find yourself unable to attack for a short time.

+Kent Henry Yeah, that is a good question. I have been using Striding Giant on my Raekor barb and I really prefer that extra toughness compared to 50% increased damage, since we already got 250% from IK 6. set bonus. Striding Giant allows me to survive a hit from most rift guardians on 77 solo. Fishing for The Choker in order to complete a rift seems pretty bad, imo. My guess for Insanity rune is, that 50% increased damage reduction is not that overwhelming when clearing rift. 50% damage reduction is equal to 4-5 stunned minions when using Ancient Parthan Defenders (depends on your bracer rolls). When reaching 82+, you are most likely forced to fish for The Choker anyways, since 50% damage reduction from Striding Giant probably wont save you from getting oneshot by most of the rift guardians. There are few rift guardians with 'light' melee hits like zoltun kulle, where Striding Giant may still be useful.. But Insanity provides a little more damage, which is better, if you are getting oneshot anyways.

Kind of sucks because these builds are useless for console players since primaries and such are locked to a specified button. Currently playing as a Barb (lvl12 right now) and trying to figure out which primary is best ( I am using cleave with the first rune). I really like the secondary where you spin and give bleed to enemies, man that messes them up. But I would like to know if there is a very good solo build for Barb that maybe revolves around cleave?

Take what you see on the leaderboards with a grain of salt. Everyone was using the overtuned Legacy of Nightmare rings. Once those are put back to normal the leaderboards should be more accurate.

+Daniel H "Not enough damages" Just look at Rhykker's stuff and look all the damages he's missing because of his bad stats ... Also as he said , he's playing a different version that is made for rushing T10 rifts. Also , you can't take damages because you charges freeze your enemies for 2 seconds.

Well, now that 2.4 is out, it's too bad to find out this build looks more fun than it is. The AOE is big enough that it seems if you're hitting objects, suddenly it counts you as having hit 2 enemies, and your charges don't get refunded. It seems that if you're not consistently fighting a single enemy away from other mobs or objects, _or_ fighting large packs at a time, you can easily burn out your charges and you're stuck running around waiting out the timer. A real shame. Guess it's back to HotA.

I've watched this video and another one by chainer, both running similar builds, but for the life of me I can't figure out how they're effectively able to spam charge everywhere, when I can't under virtually any circumstances. I too thought it was a bug, and even opened a thread on the Diablo forums, but no one else seemingly has this problem.
