2003 some of the best jams you’ll find. Like no other.

One of my favorite versions of 7 Below. I'm confused by the comments below on this video. I find it annoying viewers can't separate "the music" from "Trey's condition." Yes. He's likely high here. However the music is also HIGH in a good way. 2003 in general is one of my favorite years both listening back and shows I attended like this one and 2/22. They were amazing shows to attend in person. To make comments like "drugs" and "this is painful to watch" are insulting to Trey and the band. This is epic video footage and should be treated with the utmost LOVE and respect. I agree - we can all HATE the drugs Trey was on, but don't hate on Trey or the music. Phish is epic now and throughout most of 2003. 2004 on the other hand is another story. 2/28/03 is also one of my top 10 favorite shows of all time. KEEP TREY SOBER, but don't hate on clearly epic versions of songs or 2003. There I'm done ranting.

I highly doubt anyone in the band would react negatively towards someone who said it's painful to watch Trey in this era, due to his condition. If anything, it just shows that they care about his health. It's not "hating" on Trey to feel regret that he was in a bad place at this time in his personal life. I can enjoy the music of 2.0 while still getting a bad feeling when I watch videos of him where he's barely able to keep himself upright.

Personally I like 2004. There are quite a few incredible jams from that time that ppl automatically dismiss bc it's "2004 Phish". Yea there were some shows that had sloppy sections but there are also some jams that are incredible. April thru August 04 is fucking awesome imo

All those people that can't stand listening to Trey on opiates by default shouldn't be allowed to listen to any Jerry Garcia from 76-86, or late Nirvana, early Miles Davis, early 2000s Les Claypool, mid-late 70s Led Zeppelin, late 60s Hendrix, 70s Clapton, any of the really good Funkadelic albums, the list goes on really. And alcohol and cocaine are physically more toxic than heroin in recreational amounts so logically that would make those people sad too and thus unable to listen to pretty much all popular music ever recorded. That would probably be too fair though, and they'd still find something else to bitch about. Maybe someone riding a bike without a helmet, that's pretty dangerous.
