It is ridiculous that banks and/or financial institutions, including corporations that issue cards, are allowed to charge the rates of interest that they do. Yeah, I know, the answer is "well don't use a credit card, or pay it off every month, in full." Probem is, this is not only unrealistic for many, but is impossible. Rates need to be capped.
