£2.5 million buy Diego Velazquez preserved his unbeaten record with a game performance in the Group Two KPMG Champions Juvenile Stakes.
The son of Frankel was made to work by stable companion Capulet, but ultimately proved too strong, recording a half-length success, justifying 8/15 favouritism in the seven-furlong event.
It was a 10th victory in the contest for trainer Aidan O'Brien.

Really had to fight for that- would i be happy having shelled out 2,5 million; huh no absolutely not. Not the finished product by a long way but seems to lack acceleration, more of a grind them down. Just feel he will be vulnerable to a class type with pace. His stable companion had been out there from the getgo and still managed to head him again when passed. Maybe next race will reveal more
