2.5 yr Post VSG, GERD, Weight Gain, Revision?

Hey girl, it's so good to see you again! I'm sorry things have been so rough for you lately. Hopefully things are looking up now. Maybe your surgeon will just recommend you work with a nutritionist to help you get back on track before jumping into another surgery? If you do end up needing a revision due to Gerd or any other health issues, that's nothing to be ashamed of! You have to do what's right for you.

Foodie Turned Sleevie, I guess I used the wrong wording. I am praying for some help and I will gladly choose getting into a “get back on track program” over surgery. The first surgery was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever been through. I just know the previous surgeon brought it up so I thought I would ask about it. It would solve my GERD problem but maybe they have something better in mind for that. Maybe a hernia repair or something along those lines? I just know I’ve been trying since December, sticking to my diet and getting more strict with myself and I’m not budging. I haven’t gained anymore but I’m also not losing. We’ll see what they recommend, whatever it is I’ll give it my all.

Please do not be so hard on yourself. You went through a horrible personal experience. You are a work in progress and you can do it!
