Manny dropped the ball on the silver rear rotor last week, and again with the red front calipers this week. I know there's supply issues lately, but I feel it'd be worth the wait to keep this build goin so perfectly. The bike is exquisite so far...don't stand for "good enough "

Great work gents, the bike looks incredible. Working with carbon can be so tricky, you guys are crushing it. Looking forward to seeing the remainder of the build. The last few videos have been a nice progression in overall style. In previous videos some of the overly sexual comments were a bit much (IMO), but otherwise respect that is part of your style. I think you are really beginning to strike the right balance between technical yet fun presentation. My suggestion would be to experiment with using a taller tripod and a nice zoom lens so you, Dado and the parts/process can be in the shot - also lets you focus more on the action rather than wielding the camera. Would be helpful for the community and/or future owner of the build to become more knowledgeable. Keep pushing, you'll be at 1MM subs in no time!

Well, the caliper is not what causes fade. If a bike has a good master cylinder and braided brake lines, then all that's left to cause issues is the pads. Brake fade is attributed to a combination of the stock rubber brake lines expanding when the fluid gets hot, as well as the resin in the pads reaching its temperature limit and releasing gas... which in turn disrupts the adhesion of the pad and rotor surface. Also, the stock pads in most bikes are sintered pads... which are good for low-speed braking (street speeds). Once things start to heat up, that's where Carbon Ceramic pads really shine.

Actually it was the Hayes brakes that had the complaints and leaks not the Nissin ‘M’ brakes. There was a recall on the Hayes. The feedback on the Nissins to date have been quite good.

Just a heads up but there is Torx and Torx Plus. BMW uses Torx Plus. Both will work but using Torx Plus will get you a tighter fit between bit and fastener. 👍 Also, the stock rotors are Brembo rotors. 👍

@@JaretCampisi About Torx Plus or rotors? Look at them closer and you'll see the Brembo "B" logo on them. Also, have Dado pick up a set of Torx Plus. Might as well use a better fitting driver for that sweet bike. 🤟🏻

Hey bro! Brembo Corse Corta masters, Stylema’s and T-Drive rotors…Epic! I’ll reserve comment on the caliper color until the final graphics are in-place. My two cents: with all due respect, why leave the rear Nissin stuff though? I’m also wondering why the underwhelming stock suspension (Marzocchi up frt, Sachs(?) rear) was not replaced with Top-shelf Ohlins TTX kit as it should have been from the factory at that price point? You could even leave the stock USD legs and installed Ohlins cartridges and changed-out or had the lowers anodized or powder coated instead of raw Aluminum.

Replaces cast Nissin calipers with Brembo cast calipers, 😆 pointless. And Jarrett, Nissin makes some of the finest brakes in the world just like Brembo. All oem, and Stylema are OEM quality btw, are about equal quality

The stock brakes on the S1000RR and M1000RR have a history of leaking along with a bunch of factory recalls...I'll stick with brembos which are widely regarded as the best braking company in the world :)

@@JaretCampisi M1000 deserves more than Stylema is my point I guess. Not a huge upgrade and you talk about Nissin like they are cheap or something. There are several Factory teams running Nissin brakes in racing, Nissin has just as high end stuff as Brembo is you know what your looking at.

@@JaretCampisi Sorry JareBear. These guys are correct. The only real upgrade from this type of Nissin caliper is a billet-endurance type (clears the wheel, massive heat dispersion and weight loss). Beringer, Brembo, Nissin all make them. PS. Bike is sick.. paint the rear caliper red. ;)

And ya i know that international shipping can be expensive, but it can't be that expensive, a hoodie might weigh only about a pound, and the courier charges might be 20-25 dollars. Spending 100-200 dollars once in a couple of months for shipping wouldn't be that bad, it would also make us feel great about owning something from you, which we can wear or display. The callipers don’t contribute to rotational mass. They contribute to unsprung mass. That weight difference would mainly be from the callipers. I don’t think you saved much rotational mass.
