Beautiful exterior but the interior needs a lot of work. That alone would cost you a fortune. Walls would have to come down. Bedrooms reconstructed. Floors pulled up.... There's alot of potential for it being a Guest House for the rich and famous searching for a place to stay.... Not a home.

They build such cheap looking houses, with very low ceilings, and the worst natural lighting implementation. small windows etc etc, and have the brass neck to charge in the millions... Nairobi has so much better as value for money as you say... these people have had monopoly of the industry for too long and have become lazy and complacent. they lack the simplest touch vibrance in the properties they sell, and one is just left with a property they cant easily re-sell.... and because of no other options, we are left to buy such sorry excuses for million dollar real estate

1970/80 architecture. A big house but disjointed rooms and use of space. Not contemporary for a family home. Best use of it is Airbnb or boutique hotel. 7 rooms and guest rooms can all be used if redesigned with good fittings, furniture, curtains, lighting. The parking space is a plus for a small hotel. It's very big and can be used. The Sauna and gym are a plus for a hotel idea. That 7k dollars can be made in 2 weeks with tourists coming in and staying in ebb for first nights or those who wish to stay near the airport to avoid the airport check in rush. That's definitely the best use of this home. Whoever purchases it can stay in one apartment and rent the other 3 including this big house. That way he/she can make more money

Thanks a lot. The price is somewhat justified by the apartments that come with it, the land, the size of the mansion, servant quarters etc. But it needed more of the modern touch than the country vibe it has going on. Country style calls for a lot more to get that attention. Some finishing was not nice like kitchen around the smoke outlet or so, outside at the edges of the pavers, better flowers other than the trees, or stylish trees with great but not wide canopies. Then burglar guards on burglar guards, its not looking good. They are outside the windows and inside, that's weird. But great house all together.

Still why should a ugandan buy a house in Nairobi? I don't get it, money is to be enjoyed ,I don't see how this house is not worth 2.5m ,what is expensive about it? An acre in that part of entebbe is $1m already without the house, again have seen better houses than this in Kampala way cheaper but of course on smaller land size ,but way more beautiful than this with all those imported materials, Italian styles, Spanish styles ,Turkish, name them but this house is unique in its own right, I for one don't like swimming pools for so many reasons which can't even take $50k to construct , there is alot of space if you like it put it there ,but its good they didn't put it there , because another person like me may not want it, but over all the house is worth the money

The outdated security window treatements are reminiscent of a prison. The interior is visually depressing . The entire house calls for a 21st century upgrade to warrant the asking price. The lake view is nothing to write home about. Needs centarl AC raher than the ancient anoing noisy AC units. Needs indoor car garages with remote control doors. Needs remote control entry gate. Taken together the asking price is grossly inflated relative to the smaller 5-6 beroom modern homes found in the suburbs of Entebbe, Kampala or Nairobi.( i.e Runda)
